We have the pleasure to announce that two new team members are joining the group:
Bethel D. TADESSE is a new Engineering Assistant in our team. Bethel's research work is at the interface of plant biotechnology, microbiology, and quantitative imaging. She recently completed the International Master’s in Agrobiomedical Science in Food and Health (GIP TRIAD) across the University of Tsukuba (Japan), National Taiwan University (Taiwan), and the University of Bordeaux (France). Her research experience includes plant virology, phytopathology/biocontrol, and PGPR screening, with practical strengths in Gateway cloning, PCR/qPCR, western blot, agroinfiltration, confocal/epifluorescence microscopy, and antagonism assays.
Théo PERCHE is a new PhD Candidate in our team. His project “Integrated Study of Tripartite Interactions Between Plant–Bacillus–Xanthomonas: Towards Sustainable Biocontrol Solutions Under Environmental Stress” bridges plant biotechnology, microbiology, and microfluidics. Trained at the University of Burgundy Europe (Dijon), Théo has obtained a Master degree in Biotechnology, Integrative Biology of Plant-Microorganisms and AgroEnvironment Interactions. Théo has knowledge and hands-on experience on plant-microbe interactions, both pathogenic systems and beneficial associations. He works across molecular biology, microbiology, and quantitative imaging, with a strong interest in biocontrol and plant–microbe signaling.
